Testimonial of the Month (November 2009)
Hello Tonya!
I just couldn't hold back without letting you know how much I appreciate having come across your book Your Right to Be Beautiful. It may surprise you that a middle aged man can be interested in such a subject. The fact is that, although a vegetarian for as far as I can remember, nothing in my appearance distinguished me much from the average person and only recently I realized the "why?".
Through constant research and reading I fortunately stumbled on the "All Raw " way of life, and started in earnest. The reason I ordered your book was also that I am profoundly interested in physical harmony and beauty. When I was younger I was considered to be a handsome man, but with time and particularly with losing my hair, I dramatically lost that status. I still look at least 10 years younger than my age (I'm in my 50's) and thought that your book could have given me some more ideas and suggestions. I am aware that handsomeness and beauty is only the side effect of an internal healthy system and well being.
I feel extremely privileged of having come across you as a person through your book. Your book reflects a very intelligent person, with a broad knowledge in an incredible wide variety of subjects. It is indeed, a masterful work of scholarship. But it is also your humble attitude that is so refreshing and uplifting.
I realize your book is focused on women's beauty. Am I wrong if I consider that the principles of nutrition and healthy lifestyle can also benefit men in general? Is there anything wrong if a man wants to look his best in every possible way also? Could it be an idea to fill the existing gap, writing a book that takes into consideration what men would like to know about enhancing their natural male attractiveness through good nutrition and a healthy lifestyle?
Thank you for taking the time to read through this. And thank you for the wonderful Internet site and book and insights. Many many thanks!
